Do It Yourself (DIY) Wedding Video – We shoot, You edit (10hrs) – $535

Ok, you have the urge to do your own custom editing of your wedding day video and want to create your own rendition of the day’s events. Why not? All of the raw video and picture elements are there. The audio tracks have been picked out. You have the software and the equipment. Now, you just need to supply your time and apply your skills.

As your videographer, we will supply lots of raw footage in Standard Definition DV AVI to play with (also HD available if your order the HD option; see below). Delivery will be on hard drive, which you supply or we buy on your behalf. Drive(s) must be formatted in NTFS and be empty of data. A USB type drive will typically not work.

Expect a lot of footage in which to choose, as there could be several takes of some scenes. They may be out of order. You take the video flavor and outtake you want. Assemble and integrate your B roll and look like a pro.

What we will provide you for your basic DIY wedding video:

• One production staff in attendance
• Complete whole day video content – 10 hour limit
• Lots of key and B-roll shots, in-camera interviews where possible, camera effects and more
• Shot in SD video – 720×480 29.97fps, DV AVI (with HD option)
• A Photo CD with many extra high resolution pictures to add to your wedding photo collection may be included

This DIY service covers the wedding days events in its best of complete form with some restrictions indicated below.

DIY Wedding Video details:

• Video material shot in 1080p HD instead, in standard AVCHD (*.mts) format recorded on supplied USB hard drive or 32GB USB stick – No charge. Your choice of SD or HD footage.
• The Bride Prep unedited video footage – included
• The Groom Prep unedited video footage – Not included
• The Rehearsal and Rehearsal party unedited video footage – Not Included
• Provide extended hours of service beyond 10hr limit – add $75/hr
• Any other special requests are rated in labour hours at $75/hr – to be discussed
• Produce both SD and HD video files – add $85

Other important details of this package:

• There are no additional camera services offered in this package
• A flat travel charge of $50 applies if total accumulated travel distance is greater than 50km. This includes the total distance traveled for any and all activities during your wedding video event involving Ottawa Wedding Videos staff.
